2023-2024 Company Team Information
What to expect at auditions?
During company auditions, dancer will practice the routines they learned during the week, then perform it in groups. Parents are not allowed in the studio during auditions.
Audition etiquette:
Dancers should be in proper dance attire for intensives and auditions. Dancers should have proper footwear for each style of dance for which they intend to audition. Hair should be pulled back out of the face. Only water will be permitted in the studio. No cellphones will be allowed.
A note to parents:
Auditions are closed, meaning parents are not permitted in the studio. Following auditions, UCLA Dance Academy staff will send an email to all who audition to inform them if they have earned a spot on our 2023-2024 company team. From there, routine placement will be determined and all dancers and parents will be required to attend a brief meeting on Sunday, July 30th from 2-3pm regarding specific details about this years company team.
